Delete Your Account
You have the right to permanently delete your Rentably account and all associated personal data at any time. This action is irreversible.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile and login credentials
- All listings you have posted
- Your saved favourites and search history
- Messages and conversation history
- Rental applications submitted through the platform
- Notification preferences and device tokens
What may be retained
Some data may be retained for a limited period where required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Billing and payment records (as required by tax law)
- Anonymised, aggregated analytics data that cannot identify you
- Records required for ongoing legal proceedings
How to delete your account
Option 1 — App Settings (fastest)
- Open the Rentably app or sign in at rentably.ca
- Go to Settings → Account
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm when prompted
Option 2 — Email request
Email us at [email protected] with the subject line “Delete My Account” from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
Changed your mind? You can also contact our support team to temporarily deactivate your account instead.
